The second week is done and I finally have a minute to sit down and do something with the blog. Alas, a minute is all I have so I changed the title and put up a corresponding picture. The picture is of a Toro Loco, which is a paper mache bull with fireworks stuffed into every possible crevice. At a fiesta, some lucky man gets the honor of wearing the Toro Loco, his friends light it on fire, and he chases everyone the around.

I have been lucky enough to experience two fiestas with Toro Locos so far. I did get singed here and there, but lucky enough I had cold beer to soothe the wounds. In fact, I ended up turning the tables on El Toro Loco and chasing him around instead. Anyway, enough about irresponsible behavior with fire.

I promise to start updating the blog this week (hopefully tomorrow) with some substantive postings about great time I'm having in Peru! Stay tuned.
